Startul în Raliul Sibiului, cea de-a opta etapă din IRC, a fost dat vineri, la ora 13.30. După prima probă specială, Dobârca, “ostilităţile” sunt conduse de norvegianul Andreas Mikkelsen. Primul român în clasament este Dan Gîrtofan (6), Bogdan Marişca e pe 9, Marco Tempestini, pe 10, iar Valentin Porcişteanu, pe 11.
La ora 15.14 s-a dat startul în a doua specială, Crinti, iar, după încă o buclă pe cele două probe, la ora 20.08 este programtă speciala de pe circuitul de rally cross. De la 22.08 urmează cele două speciale de noapte, Păltiniş şi Santa!
